When a movie describes your very thoughts....

"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life. Well, not small, but circumscribed. And sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void."

wow sharelle -- your blog is just too deep for me. i always think about posting quotes but i'm not reading or watching anything of substance. and sometimes i'm even nervous to post a comment -- like in the last post? your COMMENTERS were commenting in quotes. oh man. my new mission: to find a quotable quote tonight and post it to seem deeper than egg muffins and cd reviews. come check it out.

The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall. Decaf. Cappuccino.

who here read "circumsized" instead of circumscribed? was that just me?

and, drew, i love that the last time i was up there the cps were talking about elizabethtown-- and now, mel is into it. i still need to see it, before I'm NO LONGER A CP. (you can't say that!)

don't go crazy.
Both Bon and I haven't seen Etown yet, and we are kind of planning not to, despite what Mel says. (sorry Mel.)
We just don't want the music to be ruined. you know what we mean.

e-town.
seen it twice. didn't like it the first time, but it plagued us (Matt & I) so we watched it again. second time, kind of really liked it. to me - this was because of the music. that soundtrack has basically become the soundtrack of my own life. so there i am - in the middle. so i say, see it or not, but either way, listen to the music. FREAKIN awesome.

i think kristina and bon became a married couple. they're talking in the "we" form.

sharelle, exactly what you said is what i thought. the music made the movie. and without certain lines and camera angles that could only be done by cameron crowe the movie wouldn't have been quite as fantastic. the music DEFINITLY made the movie. and the score was pretty good as well.

okay.
i might have just been convinced.
Bonnie and I (seperate entities) might have to go ahead and see it anyways.
Thanks for pointing out what only C. Crowe can do.

Sharelle, sorry for using your blog as a way to communicate with the CP's. I've enjoyed it, i'm not going to lie.
I hope you don't mind.
