Oh Starbuckles...

Yes I have sold my soul to the corporate machine. And I am ok with it. At least I think am. Do I ever love that place. It's like my 2nd library now - except its open twenty four hours. Thank goodness...

can i tell you a little story called "tuesdays"?
I have a meeting tuesday mornings at a starbucks that is halfway between edmonds and seattle. It's at 7:00.
I have a biblestudy tuesday NIGHTS at that same starbucks at 7:00.

It's putting a little damper on the starbucks scene for me.

but, how can i complain? the bible study is with kelley riggio, katie brister, beth faw, and my roomates.

You know what I REALLY hate? Is when people call the the coffee shops on campus that have a sign saying "We Proudly Brew Starbucks Coffee" Starbucks. It isn't Starbucucks. Not even close.

Two things -

Spiro You're right - no complaining! What i would give for a Cape BS (Bible Study) lucky jerk:)

Kathryn - I know! At TWU, they call this coffee shop Sbux, I KNOW its not, because I dont get cheap coffee there. Those are commerically owned stores friends. Geez...

nice photo - think i've been (worked) there before. The feeling of loss in my heart is growing smaller, but I still do miss it from time to time. I wouldn't be surprised if that place fell apart without me. kidding. It was sure nice to get those free drinks & discount though, but I guess it can't last forever...well maybe it could if I work there again. haha.

Toured the Vertigo Theatre in downtown Calgary today. There is a Starbucks across the street. Perhaps I will apply there when I graduate?
